Manager Ken Sistrunk Of Rick's Cabaret/NYC Named "General Manager of the Year" At 2009 Adult Nightclubs & Exotic Dancer Awards

Tootsie’s Cabaret Named Best Club in the Southeast

LAS VEGAS- (September 1, 2009) -Ken Sistrunk of leading adult nightclub Rick's Cabaret in New York City was named General Manager of the Year at the 2009 Adult Nightclubs & Exotic Dancer Awards during the Gentlemen's Club Expo last week. The nightclub is part of Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. [NASDAQ-GM:RICK], the leading national chain of upscale gentlemen's clubs.

Sistrunk, who has been with Rick's Cabaret and steakhouse since the company opened its New York City location in 2005, directs a staff of nearly two dozen managers, hosts and hostesses and oversees more than 200 entertainers who perform at the club seven days a week.

Under his management, the club this year was named "the best strip club in New York City" by Playboy.com and has received similar accolades from sources as varied as the popular website YesButNoButYes.com and The Howard Stern Show.

In addition to the General Manager of the Year award the company's Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami was named the Best Club in the Southeast. Rick's Cabaret Director of Operations Ed Anakar, who supervised the re-launch of Tootsie's after its acquisition by Rick's Cabaret International in December 2007, accepted the award on behalf of the company. Tootsie's, with more than 70,000 square feet of entertainment space and parking for 1,500 cars, is located at 150 NW 183rd St in Miami Gardens, is open until 6 a.m., and features up to 400 entertainers daily.

The gentlemen's club industry's top adult nightclubs and feature entertainers were honored at a full-blown, Vegas-showroom Awards Show. The award winners were chosen by the readers of ED Club Bulletin, the industry's trade magazine. The show was part of the three-day Gentlemen's Club Expo for the adult nightclub industry that attracted more than 3,000 attendees.
