Rick's Cabaret Charlotte Plans Grand Opening of Three-In-One Adult Playground
CHARLOTTE--(May 12, 2005)--Rick's Cabaret--Charlotte
will hold a three-day grand opening party May 19th to May 21st to
launch its three-night-clubs-in-one "adult playground." The festivities
begin at 8 p.m. Thursday May 19 at 5300 Old Pineville Road and are
sponsored by Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. [RICK:NASDAQ]
a publicly traded company operating adult nightclubs across the
country.
Covering
30,000 square feet, Rick's Cabaret-Charlotte comprises the upscale
Rick's Cabaret Gentlemen's Club, The Lounge at Rick's Cabaret dance
club and Rick's Male Revue, featuring male dancers and caters to
a female audience.
To complement local performers, Rick's is flying in more than a
dozen of its famous Girls of Rick's dancers from its clubs in New
Orleans, Houston and Minneapolis for the grand opening celebration.
"No matter who you are or what kind of nightlife you enjoy, we have
something for you in our adult playground," said Eric Langan, CEO
of Rick's Cabaret International, who is supervising the opening
of the three-in-one club concept. "Our gentlemen's club and Rick's
Male Revue will be open from 8 p.m. 'til 2:30 a.m., and then our
patrons are invited over to The Lounge, which remains open 'til
5 a.m., so we are truly built for partying."
Rick's Cabaret acquired an option to purchase and a management agreement
for the former Manhattan Club in February and has been transforming
the venue since then. Separately, the company is also in the process
of opening a new club in midtown New York City across from the Empire
State Building and one block from Madison Square Garden.
