RCI's Hollywood Showclub Relaunches as Scarlett's Cabaret St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, July 26, 2017—RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: RICK) announced that Hollywood Showclub of Washington Park is relaunching this week as Scarlett’s Cabaret, bringing a new level of sophisticated adult entertainment to the gentlemen’s club business in Greater St. Louis.
The Grand Opening Celebration is scheduled to begin with an RSVP event and guest appreciation party the night of Thursday, July 27. Festivities continue through Saturday, July 29. For more information, visit: https://www.facebook.com/ScarlettsStLouis/
The highlight of the Grand Opening events will be nightly performances by famed adult entertainment star Tori Black. A Penthouse Pet of the Month, Ms. Black was named one of the top female stars in adult entertainment by Maxim and one of the most popular adult stars by CNBC.
“We’re keeping the Miami Vice neon art deco look and feel, but we’re bringing an entirely new vibe to the club,” said Dean Reardon, who is in charge of the relaunch. “We want Scarlett’s Cabaret to be known as the St. Louis area’s most friendly, most professional, most polished gentlemen’s club.”
The club at 5841 Bunkum Road, Washington Park, IL, 62204 was acquired in April by a subsidiary of RCI. The club is open 7 days a week, 12 PM to 4 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and to 6 AM, Friday and Saturday. Through its subsidiaries, RCI owns 45 gentlemen’s clubs, sports bars/restaurants and dance clubs in the US.
“Establishments owned by RCI subsidiaries are recognized for their hospitality, not only to their guests, but also to the surrounding community,” said Mr. Reardon. “To continue that tradition, we’ve recruited top managers, implemented industry best practices, and created new incentives to attract the most beautiful entertainers.”
The club’s new name follows that of Scarlett’s Cabaret Miami, also owned by an RCI subsidiary, regarded as one of the top gentlemen’s clubs in the country, known for its late night party atmosphere and dance scene. “With our ability to stay open to 4 and 6 AM, the Scarlett’s approach should work well in St. Louis,” said Mr. Reardon.
