Rick's Cabaret - NYC Named Top Club In Northeastern U.S. At Annual Adult Nightclub Exotic Dancer Awards Ceremony


LAS VEGAS -(August 28, 2006)- Rick's Cabaret-NYC, the luxurious upscale gentleman’s club in midtown Manhattan owned by Rick’s Cabaret International, Inc. [NASDAQ:RICK], was chosen as the Northeast Club of the Year at the 2006 Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show here Friday.

Eric Langan, CEO of Rick's Cabaret, was on hand to pick up the award during the Annual Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo at the Stardust Hotel & Casino. "This is a great recognition from our peers in the industry since it acknowledges that our New York City club is the finest and also the friendliest and most welcoming club in Manhattan," he said.

The three-story Rick's Cabaret-NYC, at 50 West 33rd Street across from the Empire State Building and down the block from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, opened last September after extensive remodeling. It is part of a nationwide expansion plan that has seen the NASDAQ-traded Rick's Cabaret add five new clubs since 2005.

With posh furnishings, a full steakhouse serving first class meals until 4 a.m. every day, Rick's Cabaret has become a favorite night spot for celebrities, business executives and athletes.
